Manages and coordinates all activities of Maintenance department. Provides leadership and strategic planning for Maintenance to accomplish corporate objectives. Responsibilities include managing department staff and budget, controlling costs to within budgeted numbers, maintaining equipment, buildings, grounds and utility systems in optimum working condition. Selects and manages in-house and contract workers engaged in assignments such as painting, masonry, carpentry, welding, electrical wiring and controls, heating and refrigeration, and plumbing systems. Responsible for maintenance inventory and parts ordering, preventative maintenance programs, construction conformance to blueprints and specifications. Supervises lawn care activities. Prepares departmental activity, manpower utilization, equipment downtime and cost reports as directed by the Plant Manager.
Essential Functions:
Accountable for the direct management and supervision of the Maintenance organization Schedules and supervises the activities of plant maintenance staff to maintain efficient and safe plant production at the lowest possible cost Schedules and supervises maintenance activities to ensure efficient and cost-effective operation Schedules repairs or modifications; assigns personnel to specific projects, manages and audits their activities to ensure that work performed is accomplished according to specification and as efficiently as possible to minimize overall cost and maintain production efficiency Manages maintenance department costs, including labor, parts, and equipment; maintains costs within budget Responsible for selection of maintenance department employees, managing their schedules and work, conducting training, performance evaluation and disciplinary measures Selects, manages and works jointly with engineering or construction personnel in performing building structural, plant process, or other construction projects to make sure they conform to specifications and code requirements that necessary permits have been obtained, proper materials are on hand, and that projects proceed on schedule; coordinates scheduling of and supervises work activities of contractors performing approved capital projects for the company; evaluates contractor work, sets expectations with contractor for safety performance, and ensures security of confidential information Accountable for security of facilities including the alarm systems, doors and entry systems, and off-workday security program; the primary objective is always to maintain the facilities in a secure condition Maintains and keeps a record of spare parts inventory to guarantee an appropriate stock level of maintenance parts and supplies; orders replacement supplies Responsible for technical training of maintenance personnel to ensure that skill sets required for effective facility maintenance are attained Responsible for safety of Maintenance department employees; promotes safe practices in lifting, climbing and bending techniques as well as proper use of and handling of mechanical and electrical equipment and manages the group safety program Supervises janitorial services and ensures that buildings and grounds are maintained, including regular inspection of buildings, roofs, plumbing, heating, air conditioning and electrical systems; initiates repair of maintenance programs as appropriate; ensures that lawns are mowed Performs duties of maintenance mechanic as necessary; provides troubleshooting assistance and resources to maintenance mechanics as necessary; performs other related duties as directed by Plant Manager Prepares activity reports, project proposals and cost analysis of replacing or repairing machinery, structures or other equipment as directed Ensures maintenance is performed in compliance with EHS and PSM requirements including Management of Change documentation and Mechanical Integrity documented inspections; develops systems as necessary to determine compliance Maintains the Preventative Maintenance program and the associated records for all equipment REQUIREMENTS:
Must have education or specialized training beyond the high school level in the mechanical, electrical and building trades. Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Engineering Management, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical EngineeringEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
